International Congress MindInnFood: Looking into Food Safety, Innovation, Sustainability and Entrepreneur – COIL

CONFERENCE TOPIC

The overall topic of the MindInnFood’24 “International Congress MindInnFood: Looking into Food Safety, Innovation, Sustainability and Entrepreneur in Food” has been designed to make it the most attractive and interesting for you (PROGRAM ) and including «Collaborative Online International Learning Sessions«. This topic crosses in four sub-themes describing the interdisciplinary food innovation challenges on which this event will be particularly focus on. Thus, abstracts are welcome in any of the following clustered descriptions:

  • Food Safety: Omics in toxicology, Biomarkers of effect/exposure, Risk Prediction and Assessment /Risk assessment using New Approach Methodologies, In vitro methodologies & screening
  • Sustainability in innovative food sources and processing strategies
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Food Innovation: New food processing strategies, Food (ingredient) interactions, Modelling, simulation and prediction, Foodomics, big data and AI.

IMPORTANT DEADLINES

  • Abstract submission: Please, make sure that all abstracts are send before Monday, 15th of October, 2024 to Prof. Cristina Juan (cristina.juan@uv.es )
  • Feedback in terms of whether your submission has been accepted for inclusion in the MindInnFood’24-Congress programme and access to congress website will be notified by Wednesday, 16th of October, 2024.
  • Poster Submissions: Please, make sure that posters are uploaded in the Scientific Area of the congress website by Tuesday, 22nd of October, 2024 (at 23:00h Madrid time zone).

 

ABSTRACT submission rules and guidelines

General rules for abstract:

  • Abstract will be prepared following the template (Template) designed for this purpose and sent via email to Prof. Cristina Juan (cristina.juan@uv.es)
  • Invited speakers will send the abstract of their presentation and are also encourage to send abstract to participate in the poster session.
  • Abstracts can be submitted for electronic poster presentation (online exposure) or poster only (printed exposure). The final decision whether an abstract is accepted, modified or rejected, lies within the reviewers´ decision conforming the MindInnFood’24 Scientific Programme Committee.
  • Only regular submitted abstracts from registered corresponding authors will be published in the abstract book “International Congress MindInnFood: Looking into Food Safety, Sustainability and Entrepreneur” by Servei de Publicacions de la UV.

Submission guidelines:

  • Abstracts must be submitted in English language only.
  • The abstract should state: purpose, methodology and results of the study.
  • The main text of the abstract should not be longer than 400 words.
  • The prerequisite for submitting an abstract lies in reporting an original poster work, not having been previously published.
  • Please, ensure complete listing and correct order of all (co-)authors, correct formatting and grammar. Accepted abstracts will be published as they have been submitted.
  • No pictures, attachments or similar are allowed and will not be displayed.
  • Please, indicate at least one keyword(s) when submitting your abstract (max. five and of free choice).
  • Authors should indicate their presentation preference:
  • Electronic poster presentation
  • Poster only
  • Oral Presentation

 

Rules and Guidelines for POSTERS submission

The submitted poster must be in PDF format with dimensions of 84,1 cm width x 59,4 cm height (landscape format). Please, make sure that you follow these dimensions facilitated also through the template available in the Scientific Area of the congress website.  

The poster must not exceed 10 Megabytes in size and remember that must be in horizontal orientation (portrait format posters and PPT -PowerPoint Presentation- are not accepted).

Audio or videos cannot be inserted into the electronic poster.

Poster only will be printed by the Organizing Committee (no cost) and will be displayed in the Poster Area.

Electronic posters will be uploaded by presenters through the conference website by entering the Personal Area with USERNAME and PASSWORD (the access information will be facilitated to corresponding authors in the feedback email of 16th of October, 2024). Please, go to the website in section indicated as: “Electronic Poster submission”.

Remember that the deadline for uploading the POSTER is 22nd of October, 2024, at 23:00 (Madrid time zone). Please, consider that later than this specific frame time, the upload system will be closed and out of our manipulation.
